Your information is shared only with the service providers that make the sale work, each of which processes it on our behalf under a written agreement:

Your information is never sold, rented, traded, or handed to advertisers. We may disclose it where the law requires it, for example in response to a valid legal request.

5. How long we keep it

Purchase records are kept for as long as Maltese tax law requires a seller to keep them, which is currently ten years. Your email address is kept for as long as you may want a re-download or a future edition. If you asked to receive notes about new material, that consent is kept until you unsubscribe. To exercise any of these, write to [contact email]. We will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.

7. Cookies

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no cross-site tracking. Stripe's checkout sets cookies that are strictly necessary to complete a purchase and to detect fraud, which is a matter for Stripe's own privacy policy. Any analytics we use are configured to measure page views in aggregate rather than to identify you. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

8. Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe using industry-standard encryption, and card details are never transmitted to or stored on our systems. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International transfers

Some of our service providers, including Stripe and Vercel, are established in the United States and your data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Those transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, including the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

10. Children

This book is written for adult golfers and the site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, write in and it will be deleted.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Any change is posted on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting how your data is used will also be sent to buyers by email.

12. Contact and complaints

You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In Malta, that is the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner, at idpc.org.mt. If you live elsewhere in the EU or in the UK, you may complain to your own national authority instead.
