The Effortless Senior Swing Blueprint is published and sold by [trading name], a business established in Malta, in the European Union. Graham Bennett is the pen name under which the book is written.

For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), [trading name] is the data controller for the information described on this page. You can reach us at any time at [contact email].

2. What we collect

When you buy

Your email address, so we can deliver the book and send your purchase confirmation.
Your name, as entered at checkout, so we can address you properly and match your order if you write in.
Payment information, which is entered on Stripe's own checkout and processed by Stripe. Card numbers never reach this website and are never seen or stored by us. We receive only the last four digits, the card brand, and whether the payment succeeded.
Your country, which Stripe determines in order to display prices in your local currency and to apply the correct tax treatment.

When you visit

Usage data, such as which pages you viewed, how long you stayed, and which site referred you.
Device information, such as browser type, operating system, and screen size.

We do not ask for, and have no use for, your postal address, date of birth, or telephone number.

3. Why we collect it

Under the GDPR we must tell you our lawful basis for each use. They are:

To deliver your order, meaning sending the PDF to the address you gave and re-sending it if a download fails. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
To take payment, through Stripe's payment infrastructure. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
To answer you when you write in with a question or a problem. Lawful basis: performance of a contract, or legitimate interest where you have not bought anything.
To send later editions of the book, which every buyer receives free for as long as the book is published. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
To send occasional notes about new material, but only if you agreed to that separately. Lawful basis: consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
To understand how the site is used, in aggregate, so it can be improved. Lawful basis: legitimate interest.
To meet tax, accounting, and anti-fraud obligations. Lawful basis: legal obligation.

4. Who we share it with

Your information is shared only with the service providers that make the sale work, each of which processes it on our behalf under a written agreement:

Stripe, for payment processing, fraud prevention, and receipts. See Stripe's privacy policy.
Brevo, for delivering the book by email and for any later notes you agreed to receive.
Vercel, which hosts this website and serves the pages you are reading.

Your information is never sold, rented, traded, or handed to advertisers. We may disclose it where the law requires it, for example in response to a valid legal request.

5. How long we keep it

Purchase records are kept for as long as Maltese tax law requires a seller to keep them, which is currently ten years. Your email address is kept for as long as you may want a re-download or a future edition. If you asked to receive notes about new material, that consent is kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask for deletion at any time, and we will delete everything we are not legally required to retain.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR and applicable data protection law you have the right to:

Access, meaning a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Rectification, meaning correction of anything inaccurate.
Erasure, meaning deletion of your personal data.
Restriction, meaning we limit how we use it.
Portability, meaning your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Objection, meaning you object to processing based on legitimate interest.
Withdrawal of consent, at any time, where consent was the basis. Withdrawing it does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

7. Cookies

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no cross-site tracking. Stripe's checkout sets cookies that are strictly necessary to complete a purchase and to detect fraud, which is a matter for Stripe's own privacy policy. Any analytics we use are configured to measure page views in aggregate rather than to identify you. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

8. Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe using industry-standard encryption, and card details are never transmitted to or stored on our systems. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International transfers

Some of our service providers, including Stripe and Vercel, are established in the United States and your data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Those transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, including the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

10. Children

This book is written for adult golfers and the site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, write in and it will be deleted.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Any change is posted on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting how your data is used will also be sent to buyers by email.
